There are many issues with this product that are unfortunate. It's an expensive product at nearly $300. That would be fine if it met expectations but it doesn't. Sorry Sunbeam but this product is really not very good at all. My first Sunbeam Queen blanket left my feet cold. It had 6 settings and a fancy controller but ultimately there was a large chunk of the bed that wasn't heated at all. From shoulder to knee was warmed but feet cold, neck cold. Some actuary probably made a saving on heating elements-bad. I hate cold feet. Then the controller flashed blue and that was the end of that electric blanket. I rang Sunbeam. Their service department was very good. All I had to do was pull the covers off my bed, photograph the Sunbeam label, photograph the Sunbeam electric plug and take a video of the electric blanket in fault. I did all that and got very fast swift service from both Sunbeam and Appliances online where I bought the blanket. A replacement blanket got to me in 24 hours from AO. Very impressive service. I looked forward to warmth. Alas, although my replacement electric blanket works my feet are still left cold. I find that incredibly negligent for an electric blanket. I am not the only person to make that comment. Unfortunately I read the reviews after purchase not before. Silly me. So there it is, my nights are partly warm but not wholly so. Don't allow your marriage to be ruined by trying to keep the electricity flowing with Sunbeam. Litigation seems inevitable for those cold soles-or is it souls? Oh misery, my electric blanket is lukewarm. First world problem? Probably. Recently bought a simple Jason electric blanket from Big W for our guest bedroom. $59. No fancy controller and only three settings but guess what.....it keeps the sleeper warm. I wish I could say something nice about the product but honestly..not happy, Jan.
