This blender removes oxygen from the jug before it starts blending. Great quality. Use it often.
Purchased this blender and have been using it almost every day since. Love that the vacuum feature allows smoothies to retain their Vít C content. I have used the takeaway cup to make smoothies beforehand but I wouldn’t push it past 12 hours in storage. Initially I was concerned 600 watts may not be strong enough. It does a good job at blitzing most fruits, veg and ice, but for sure it doesn’t break everything up to the consistency you see in Vitamix videos, but then again it doesn’t cost $1000. I actually got it price matched with appliances online, had a great experience shopping with them, so that made the machine way better value for money. Not sure I would pay full price for this. Overall very happy with my purchase, will continue to use it for a daily breakkie smoothie!
