THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE ITEM, BUT WELL WORTH THE MONEY. REALLY INNOVATIVE DESIGN, ROLLS UP WHEN NOT IN USE. UNROLLED, WE USE HALF ON THE BENCH AND HALF ACROSS THE SINK OR VARIANTS AS REQUIRED. ITEMS SUCH AS CHOPPING BOARDS CAN BE WASHED BY HAND AND THEN SLOTTED AT RIGHT ANGLES THROUGH THE SLATS DIRECTLY INTO THE SINK. THEY THEN DRY QUICKLY, THUS ELIMINATING THE PROBLEM OF REMAINING WET IN THE DISWASHER AT THE END OF THE WASHING CYCLE, AS SOME PLASTICS. DO.

It's like an extra set of hands in the kitchen - great for resting hot things on and helps fit my strainer when draining pasta. Not cheap but worth it to save the benches.
