Does the clean well
When I received the dishwasher the door was out of alignment. I have told Appliances on line about this. I am still waiting for Westinghouse to contact me. But understand the covid 19 situation.
I am a Bosch fan. I would prefer bosch over Westinghouse and should have spent the extra money to get another Bosch. Lesson learnt. You pay for what you get!
Buy this appliance if you're on s strict budget...otherwise buy the Bosch.
Ok, but lacking some key features
I purchased dishwasher WSF6608X specifically because of it's additional features over two other models that were less expensive. I would give the dishwasher 3 stars as the drying feature is not effective. I received the dishwasher, had it professionally installed and even when using the "dry +" feature, the unit is completely wet inside and requires you to hand dry all of the dishes with a towel before putting them away. Not efficient! I've booked a service call and will update this review if it turns out to be malfunctioning. Another feature I would have expected is for the dishwasher to 'remember' the last setting used. I have to re-program it each and every time I use it. Perhaps my expectations are too high but this seems antiquated.
Appliances Online is a great retailer, although with this particular purchase my delivery date was moved around a lot, and the dishwasher was delayed by a couple weeks. Also when I called to book the service call it wasn't clear if it was Appliances Online or the manufacturer and there was a lot of back and forth and unnecessary hassle to book in a service request. If I were to do this all over again I would NOT purchase this dishwasher.
Almost Great!
We bought this dishwasher a month ago. Delivered on Time, well packaged, not a mark on it. Connected it and it works brilliantly... except, it has a chemical smell of rubber or glue, all our dished stink and have to be rewashed by hand. Several washes, cleans, re-washes later... still smells. Bit frustrating, but is very slowly going away. So one day in the not to distant future, we should be able to wash our dishes in it... imagine that!
