Excellent fridge
I previously had the larger version of this Westinghouse fridge and it was faultless, so I had no hesitation in going for the smaller one now that I have downsized. It's a great little fridge, holds a lot more than you'd expect. Quiet operation. Nothing to criticize about it. It's a great buy. Appliances online were fantastic, definitely recommended.
Westinghouse 308L cheap and badly designed.
This item is cheaply made. The bins are difficult to get in and out of the freezer.
The interior has been designed by someone who obviously does not shop or cook.
The Butter compartment, does not fit a block of Butter upright, you have to lay it down and when you have a two kilos of butter, it takes up half a shelf.
There is one small egg rack for storage, does not fit a carton of eggs.
In the freezer, there is an ice compartment, which is great if you have to constantly have a freezer full of ice, It basically takes up the space of a drawer which could be used more wisely for food items.
Why did I purchase this item, I didn’t have a choice. My old Fisher and Paykel lasted 20 years.
In that time, manufactures are making fridges, taller and thinner. I couldn’t go any more than 308L as the height would not fit under my cupboard. If I could have taken a sledge hammer to the cupboard, I would have. Most of the fridges around 400lt are 1720 and 1726
My Fisher and Paykel was much larger than 308Lt, fit under the cupboard but was wider than todays makes.
Westinghouse was a well known Australian brand and was well made and designed.
Now, not so, cheap plastic, and make.
Less than disappointed. Online Appliances online needed to replace it after 2 days when the light stopped working. They were incredibly helpful and efficient. Very easy to do business with. Delivery drivers are great, notify you every step of the way to delivery. Making life easy.
Love this fridge.
Love this fridge. Perfect for a single person. Plenty of space in fridge as well as freezer.
