Solid, great machine.
This our second Speed Queen machine; the first was a front loader, ok, but I wish I purchased this from the start. Surprisingly noisy during wash cycle, but whisper quiet during spin! And don't worry, you will know where your money went on this machine, it really is worth it. Forget the economy ratings on this; it is not green, but it absolutely solid and has the old style agitator in the middle; it just works so well. I waited for a while to review this; yes, if you are thinking of getting one, you wont be disappointed. Note; no fancy electronics on the panel, less to go wrong. Solid, big tub that eats washing like a maniac. 5 year warranty? Dont worry, if you ever have to ring Speed Queen in AU then you will realise very quickly you have support right here, right now. We also have the front loader; but this one is our choice of machine.
Speed Queen top loader
We are replacing a speed queen that is 15 years old and mechanically perfect however body had some rust. Power hungry and not water efficient but used daily for 15years without any mechanical issues. The replacement is proving to wash as well
