leaves water with foul taste
I would not recommend this tap, it looks great but we have to be run water for before filling up a glass otherwise it has a disgusting taste to it. I ordered this tap along with a sink that had to be done early and sent to to the mob making our new kitchen, and the tap was not installed until December 2023. it was gross from the get go, but thought it may be because of new pipes so persisted with it, we have spent some, time away during 2024 but this taste has not eased even after turning the tap on multiple times a day water has to be run for 10-15 seconds to not get the awful taste. I contacted appliance online in december 24, who forwarded on to manufacturer, the outcome was to send me a new pull out part and informed me that it has to be installed by a plumber at my expense as it is now out of warranty, I explained that we have not been here much and have been trying to give it a fair go but they just could not care less, they offered that if it didnt improve they would give me a discount on a new Abey tap. I have installed a new Oliveri pull out tap last month in the laundry and do not get this taste, the representative again basically said to bad, nothing I can do. fair to say I will count my losses and buy another brand.

This tap is so stylish. You wouldn't even know it that it pulls out. Sleek. Love it and it compliments the final finishes..
