A Godsend for a bad back!
We ordered the washing machine pedestal as, due to age and chronic back problems, we found it increasingly difficult to bend down to empty the ront loader washing machine, and then to lift a basket full of wet washing up off the floor. (And we don't want to change to a top loader - love our front loader!) The pedestal has raised the machine to a level where it is much easier to empty and we can stand the washing basket on an upturned bucket which makes it easier to lift without straining the lower back. The delivery and installation was quick and efficient, and the product does what it is supposed to. The only little niggle is that the drawer in the pedestal is right on the floor, so J would recommend putting something under the feet to raise the pedestal a little to make the drawer easier to open withiut draghing on the tiles. I do feel the price is very high for what the item is, but then it has to be made strong I guess to take the weight of a fully loaded washing machine. I wish we had found out about these a long time ago - we could have saved years of backache!
Expensive for what it is
At the end of the day, this is a metal stand with a drawer for your Electrolux dryer.
It is overpriced for what it is. However it is an exact colour match to your dryer, and it is the perfect size for your dryer. You could buy a similar stand for 1/3 the price.
I might add that Appliances Online wanted $180 to install my dryer onto my pedestal (I ordered the dryer first and the pedestal after the dryer arrived).
Assembly takes about 5 minutes.
Great for tall people
Love it, perfect under our Electrolux washer especially as we are all tall
