hood detail no good
blow fly's end up in range hood because fly,s could enter though hood on roof
and continue straight down flue hence our problem. could be designed way better
Not Happy
I only used the flue and cowling sections of the kit. The supplied flashing was totally inadequate for a raised profile concrete tile.
I subsequently purchased the old reliable lead flashing from a local hardware store, and also their flexi flue tube which seemed better quality than the kit one
Cheaper Elsewhere
It's a ducting kit. You'll need to know what you're doing. It's not going to install itself here. Whether or not this completely suits you depends on your roof and circumstances. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, just difficult to recommend as it depends on so many factors.
Annoyingly, right after I ordered I noticed the exact same thing was cheaper at Bunnings just down the road. Should have spent more time researching.
