Efficient and quiet
I bought the Westinghouse rangehood based on performance and more importantly the dimension because it had to fit in the cupboard space of the old unit. When searching the internet there were not that many choices. Apart from shaving 10cm of the cupboard doors the unit fitted perfectly and working as expected. .
An average product.
Appliances online specifications say this rangehood uses LED lights which is false because it uses two ugly halogen lamps. This is not a stainless steel unit, only the front panel is. The fan speed and extraction are very average, compared to similarly specced Omega in the bigger kitchen. I guess the manufacturers themselves are underwhelmed with the product, so much so as not to put any branding anywhere on the range hood. Once installed, it looks like a no-brand product from Bunnings or e-Bay. A regretful buy overall. Thanks to Appliances Online for the speedy delivery and service with this, however.
