Better than I hoped
I am a 100 year old lady who required a reliable, easy-to-use washing machine. This Westinghouse EasyCare top loader is wonderful and is exactly what I need. The glass lid is a great idea, and the cycle options are very suitable for my needs. Ir runs quietly and is efficient. Highly recommended.
Westinghouse Easycare Toploader Washing Machine
I absolutely love this washing machine.
Not heavy or clunky like the older models but does a great job and every load has come out sparkling clean.
So glad my old machine broke done so that I could replace it with this one.

Not As Good As Expected
Having bought this online without first being able to see it in store, I expected it to be better than my previous washer. Some features are but many are not. The plastic basket tray that pulls out to put detergent in is really clunky and jerky, both pulling out and pushing in. Very poorly made part. While the machine has some better features on it, if you make a mistake, say, choosing the water level, or wash cycle, you cannot cancel and redo it at all. Even turning the machine completely off, it starts up where it was at the time power was cut. So if you see there's not enough water in it, for instance, you can't add more. And the machine is VERY noisy and does start up actions that seem to be pointless (i.e. agitating dry clothes before water is pumped in even if it's not in an "automatic weighing" mode. FYI, it fills from the sides, not the top, so it takes a while to even see the water. Clothes does come out clean and with no knotting of clothes previous washer did without an agitator.
