Great for open plan area
Replaced a very old box wall AC with this . The delivery was very next day and they also took away the old AC (which was far too heavy!). New AC was straightforward to install and we had it running same day as the weather was really hot. Only negative is that the instructions for drain plug was confusing. We had to google to find out that we should remove the plug and add a drain pipe outside (the appliance did not come with the pipe so we got one from Bunnings) to direct the condensation water to drain away .
Even though we have an open plan lounge, kitchen, tv room and corridors, the AC cooled down the place very well. I had imagined I would have to run the unit for hours on full to get the place cooled but it worked very well within 15 min on temp setting at 25. As our open plan area is very large, I did put on a Vornado air circulator to help move the cold air towards the other end of the house.
Will have to wait for winter to see how well the heating works.
I recommend the AC and purchasing from Appliances Online.
