Loud and faulty - avoid!
Received the fridge and immediately it made a loud squealing sound from the compressor that could be heard from outside the house. The piercing sound continued for over two hours. Made a service call to Appliances Online who, after multiple phone calls and video 'evidence' agreed to replace the faulty item. It took five days to arrange for a new fridge, in that five days I had to turn fridge off at night so that I could sleep. Worst sound imaginable. Even with the 'faulty' sound, it gurgles and hisses and is one of the loudest units I've encountered since the roaring fridges of the 80's. Could not warn people enough to stay away from this very poor model.
Very noisy...so disappointed
I purchased this fridge a couple of months ago and am so disappointed. It is just so noisy. Clicking sounds, rumbling and whirring constantly. Its a shame as the internal fridge and freezer size is great.
Westinghouse 425L Bottom Mount Fridge
After buying this fridge from appliances Online, We could not be happier with it. There is ample room for everything we need to put into it. The clear shelfs make it easy to see things at the back and there is plenty of room. The door shelfing is great for small things and larger bottles. The operation is quiet, and keeps everything chilled. The Bottom Mount Freezer is great, The drawers open easily and there is ample room again for all the things we need to keep frozen. The Ice cube maker is a great bonus, easy to use and we can keep a supply of ice cubes in the holder. Overall we would give it 5 out of 5 stars.
