A versatile and small gas bbq
We bought this to replace a very old but similar BBQ. The BabyQ is small and lightweight and will fit just about anywhere. The size is perfect for a two person household and occasional entertaining. The red option looks very smart. It comes with two grill plates but we also purchased a flat plate for versatility. The supplied gas line fits the modern gas bottles with the large external screw thread, so if you don't have these you will need to buy one.
The large knob for the gas regulator allows for precise control of temperature. Most things we cook go fine at setting 3 or 2 and it can go much hotter if needed.
The push piezo electric igniter is pretty much a joke, working only about 1 in 10 times. The exposed cables are ugly and make it look like an afterthought. If you buy one of these you will need a gas lighter with a long neck that can reach the gas ring.
Overall it does the job apart from the piezo igniter. If you can live with that it is a great product.
