Vogel swing arm TV mount for 75" Samsung TV
I've used these Vogel swing-arm TV mounts before and they are great, but I had an issue this time with the 70mm mounting screws. It needed 3 to go into timber studs, but 2 of then sheared off when screwing them into the wall. The studs are in an older house with hardwood studs. Luckily I had a backup plan with my own fixings. And the Phillips-head screws for mounting into the back of the TV are for a HUGE Phillips-head screwdriver. Again I had my own mounting fixings and washers and these worked much better. But once mounted - into a corner, this Vogel TV mount - for a huge 75" TV - is brilliant. The design to set it up, then 'drop' the TV into the 'V' mount on the swing-arm is very clever, and with the adjustment in the bottom fixing you can level it up. And the best part is being able to release the clip on the back and the whole TV can being angled forward toward the audience and it keeps the dust off the face of the TV over time. So apart from sub-standard fixings (for very hard timber studs) and over-sized Phillips screw heads, it's a brilliant TV mount, and I wouldn't hesitate buying this brand again in the future. It's the perfect solution for getting the TV up and away from fiddly fingered grandchildren. And AppliancesOnline had a very good price. Thanks...
