TV is still on the wall
So I'm using this TV Mount to mount a 65 inch TV to my garage door as part of my man cave.
So far the television is still attached to the wall and hasn't fallen, so I'd say it is acceptable
TV Wall mount installation
Easy to install and very robust. TV mounts flush, without much gap. TV can be easily lifted off to service. Outlets and wiring for my TV is fully hidden behind. One feature I like is spreading the weight of the TV via the mount over two wall studs. Some mounts put all the vertical weight onto one wall stud. This mount is not fully articulated, so TV position adjustment is minimal.
very solidly engineered
The price seemed surprisingly high, but the engineering quality is excellent. Instructions for mounting are good, with some fancy on-line assistance if you like. It took me about 1 ½ days of thinking and double-checking mounting points and cable routings, but then only about ½ hour to actually mount the unit. It works well, and allows a 65 inch TV to swing to almost 90 degrees from the wall. No droop or wobbling, despite the weight of the TV being close to the design limit of the mounting. In short, highly recommended.
