Overpriced and Difficult to Install Trim Kit
Whilst trim kit was far better quality than the one it replaced , the installer had great difficulty in fitting it and a second installer was called in to finish the job. Having said this, the installation looks good and I am happy with it.
Smeg Trim Kit
Looks good. However, when box opened by installer half the parts missing. Luckily, he had spare parts in his truck he could use and managed to install.
Over priced and manufacturing fault.
Please refer to my unanswered email regarding the trim kit. The right hand base plate is pressed in reverse so the front mounting hole ends up at the rear. An additional hole needs to be drilled to enable installation. Once this relatively easy fix is done the kit seems to be OK. This is not a new issue as a quick google search identified this same issue in 2018.
