Nutella branding doesn’t come off
I bought this hoping to replace a white
Smeg toaster that stopped working. I was hoping to be able to either remove the Nutella branding or swap the housing over, but neither worked. Stuck with a Nutella toaster now! On the bright side, smeg seemed to have fixed the issue of the toast riser shorting the circuit that plagues these toasters.

Lower wattage great for good sourdough toast
This toaster toasts more slowly so moist sourdough breads are crisp, but not burnt, and still chewy inside - much better than the Kitchenaid toaster we replaced. Build quality and mechanisms all very smooth, quiet and functional. Pricey but we love it!
