I swear my baking has got 95% better since purchasing this oven and I assure you it’s not skill or practice - it’s this oven. I kid you not I love it. I bake specifically so I can use it. I’ve never owned a Siemens before and if/when I’m ever rich and fancy enough to get a whole kitchen ‘suite’, it WILL be Siemens. I cannot be more happy with this product.

Easy to use and stylish appearance. My oven in my previous home was a similarly priced Euro built oven - the Siemens cooks far more evenly. Highly recommend.

Had this oven for about a month now and really enjoy using it. Standout features for our family of six with younger kids are the soft close door. Child lock that locks both the controls AND the door. Residual heat indicator. Fast preheating with progress indicator showing when it will reach the set temperature. Well insulated door that stays cool while baking. Nice even cooking too! The controls are simple and intuitive and the various settings are useful, with the most frequent we use being 4D followed by top and bottom heating mode. The temperature range is impressive too, allowing you to select temperatures from 35C all the way up to 300C. 35C is great for proving our bread dough (a staple in our family) and 300C for baking home made Pizza to perfection. Only negative is when selecting a temperature outside the 'common' ranges. Like proving bread at 35C. The increments on the dial start at 1 degree for about 3 turns before changing to increments of 10. So you end up feeling like you're endlessly spinning the dial to get to the temperature you want. It's only a minor annoyance however and hasn't stopped us from enjoying using the oven overall. Haven't yet used the pyrolytic cleaning function yet so can't comment on it's effectiveness, but it was a feature we looked for when choosing this oven so as to avoid cleaning chemicals as much as possible. When choosing this oven we shopped between Bosch, Nef and Siemens. Nef has a better online presence (lots of Youtube videos!) and some nice unique features (that hideaway door!). But ultimately chose the Siemens because of the control layout, child locking door, and the main difference, price! Appliances Online had a great deal on the Siemens at the time that made it hard to pass up. Overall very happy with this product and got a great deal from Applicances Online whose customer service was excellent! Even managed to have my call answered in less than 30secs when I called at 11:30pm! Perfect for helping to choose between products during a late night shopping comparison when you're spoilt for choice lol! Delivery was on time and installation team was excellent with great communication on the status of my order from purchase installation. Highly recommend going with Appliances Online, and will be returning to purchase again from them because of this. We need a new cooktop next... and a freezer... and... :-)
