Siemens induction
Easy to use, easy to clean. Super fast on “boost” setting. The flexibility of the areas is excellent and the controls are pretty intuitive. I cannot speak to the build quality because it’s very sealed up. Time will tell.

Very excited about the transititon from gas to induction. Exactly as Dom in Manuka described - easy to use and clean
A learning experience
The Siemens induction cooktop replaced a much-loved Miele gas cooktop, and the transition has been interesting. Apart from the lack of a visible flame to show the cooking process is under way, the Siemens has been quite good in meeting my modest cooking needs. Its flexible temperature management has been great once I learned how to adjust the temperature zones for various pots and pans. The controls are clear and easy to operate and the cooking surface is very easy to keep clean. The only downside I can see is that the cooking surface is not as robust as the stainless steel Miele and will show scratches and scuffs (or worse) if not handled carefully.
