Concerned as I have never heard of this brand.
I was a chef in my professional life and my kitchen at home needed an upgrade. I was concerned about this brand as I had never heard of it, but it is German and we all know how good German engineering is. It's more pricey than other brands but I figured that if it does what they profess, then it's money well spent. I definitely did not want anything made in China. Well, I'm impressed! It really is very quiet, quieter than my Bosh dishwasher. It is able to remove not just steam, cooking fumes and vapours etc but it definitely reduces the smell of the food being cooked. Of course you get the initial fragrance as you first put the food in the pan but it doesn't permeate the rest of the house and linger. Pleased I made the decision to spend more for quality and first rate technology.
