Worked well once I figured out the secret!
I bought these pots and pans a few weeks ago. I followed every scanpan instruction perfectly, but every time I used these, food would stick, not cook properly, and take a deep bicarbonate soda treatment to clean even the most simple of foods cooked.
I hated these pans.
Then, after googling, I found out I needed to season these pans in the oven using an oil that has a high smoke point (I used avocado oil). Once I did this, these pots and pans were like a dream to use. However, nowhere in the scan pan instruction booklet or website did it state I needed to do this, hence my deduction of a point. These pots and pans are great once seasoned properly - scan pan should include instructions on how to do this to avoid frustration!
Beautiful to look at and use!
Great set of pots and pans. They not only loo good but are efficient in heating and cooking. They heat up quicker than my old pots and hold that heat longer. Set includes everything you'd possibly need and more. They have a good weight to them but not too heavy to use. So far so good!
