We have now had our new split system installed. It’s very efficient and easy to use. We look forward to summer to see how the cooling works.
Louder than advertised
The outdoor condenser unit is significantly louder than listed. About 20 decibels louder than anticipated.
Replacement air conditioner for Wine Cellar
Bought Samsung air conditioner to replace existing Daikin air conditioner. Very pleased so far. The unit is quiet, efficient and effective. The external unit is smaller than it's predecessor and definitely quieter. Easy to use, and one thing that is really nice, given that the air conditioner is for a wine cellar, is that the remote allows the temperature to be taken down to 16 degrees C compared to a minimum of 18 degrees C minimum of the Daikin. And it has no problems getting the temp down to the 16 degrees per the remote. Early days in the overall life of the unit but so far so good!!
