Stopped working after 2weeks
I purchased this machine and after just 17 days (2.5 weeks) it no longer drains and is giving me an error code (5C). Now I have to book it for a service and wait until someone can come look at it.
As a single mum with 5 children, a reliable washing machine is essential and I had high hopes in this machine as I previously had a Samsung 13kg washer that lasted over 5yrs.
To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement.
Rusted so much, it collapsed in one corner..
Bought this brand name machine, thinking quality. Unfortunately, i was wrong. Only the 30 minute wash works on the dial, and rust has taken hold to the point where the entire bottom is rusted out. Samsung told me "please be advised that feedback from our Technical Team considers the issue of your washing machine collapsing due to rust is non-warranty, and may have been caused by exposure to moisture or salt water. Samsung is, unfortunately, unable to assist you at this time.
Imagine a washing machine unable to handle moisture...and no this machine is not used on a beach, with waves crashing over it either. I will be taking this to the ACCC, as they state that a machine of this price should last between 5 and 10 years. Good luck with that Samsung purchase, buyers!
