Robinhood Chateau rangehood - narrow unit
This is a pretty basic rangehood. It has 2 halogen lights and a 2 speed fan. The fan is just a prop type and you cannot add a twist on carbon filter but you can buy a carbon mesh filter to replace the existing one. The unit has plastic sides which will become brittle and break due to heat from the cooktop and oil residue that accumulates. It is a not as high as most rangehoods (161mm) so it is the same size as the older Omega rangehoods. This avoids modifying the above cupboard and doors.
Reasonable value range hood
Works well, good lighting, reasonable value for the price. Not too noisy. Good to be supplied with white and stainless finish at front of hood.
