Did the job!
I purchased a trim kit for a new microwave which was smaller than the previous microwave oven, so did not fill the space left. The trim kit filled the surrounding space and tidied the whole thing up giving a streamlined look, so am very happy, although it was expensive particularly as I had to get a carpenter to install it..
