We needed to resolve 1) the power requirements involved with a 90 cm induction cooktop; 2) size of the countertop opening. It seems NEFF didn't make much of an effort to alert consumers that so much power (50 amps) would be needed. As to sizing, not all 90 cm models are created equal but we were able to "re-size" the opening with the assistance of a stone mason. We have only cooked on the induction cooktop twice so it is hard to rate but I think we'll love it. It is certainly quite functional and attractive.
