Ice dispenser socks but awesome fridge
This is a solid well designed fridge with a lot of space. It looks stylish and has a lot of good features. The ice dispenser, however, could have been better resigned. Ice flies everywhere unless you have a very specific sized glass.
Water dispenser - not cold water
Fridge is great, roomier in both sides than my old Samsung with same exterior dimensions, veges are staying fresh in draws bagged or not bagged... Ice dispenser good, however ZERO rating to water dispenser ...dispenses room temp water! What's the point, it's easier to get water from the tap?? A sticker on the front of the fridge says 'if your water is not cold, likely due to frequency of use, if still not cold, add ice!' Sorry LG, but that is pathetic. I get a quarter of a cup of just cool water for the first water dispense... That is only thing bringing my rating down for this fridge.
Appliances on-line - only one complaint - the $30 voucher for first purchase seems like a scam. I tried 3 times before my purchase and never received the voucher. I connected on the chat - no one answered this question, yet were quick to answer my technical questions. Very disappointed with that failed marketing approach! Apart from this, Appliances online were brilliant. Ordered at 11pm, received at 10am next day - 11 hours.... Super fast and convenient with no shipping costs.
Love this LG Refrigerator - LG 635L Side by Side
We love this fridge - its very spacious and there is plenty of space for everything. Even the freezer has plenty of compartments and this way I can place the different meats in the different sections. The Ice maker and the water works very well.
