Quite happy with my new LG fridge
I've had my new LG fridge for about a month now and it's settled in very well. Runs very quietly and is big enough for my purposes. Even the freezer can hold a surprising amount of food, although I'm a little disappointed that there is no dedicated space for an ice tray. I would have thought that it would have been almost mandatory. The little ice bucket and tiny ice cube tray work well but it's annoying having to keep moving it around, depending on what else is in the freezer. Otherwise, it's a great fridge. Time will tell if it's reliable but so far so good.
So far so good
I've only had my LG for a couple of weeks and so far I'm very pleased with it. Any change can be fraught; however, I think I'm used to it now. Would have preferred a white version but sadly, that seems to be out of fashion. TIme will tell if the stainless steel version will cope with extended use. Quite happy with my purchase, although the lack of a dedicated iceblock area is surprising. Luckily the fridge came with a tiny iceblock tray and container but it's inconvenient to have to keep moving it around to find a spot where it's not in the way but still accessible. Seems an unnecessary cost saving exercise. The crisper drawers are drying out my vegies so I've had to come up with alternative storage method (either a glass container or calico-type bags). Not an issue I've had with other fridges. It runs very quietly, which is a bonus and it's (theoretically) energy-effcient.
