Wine storage for apartment
Wanted a small wine fridge for an apartment and this one seemed to offer the best value. Looks good, compact & holds around 30 bottles. Recommend.
It's a... Wine Fridge
We bought this fridge not just to store wine but other things which don't need full refridgeration. It has competitive pricing compared to other similar products but this comes with some compromises. Still, if you just need the basics, it may fit the bill.
It has a simple appearance, the black colour makes it not to take sentrestage and just fade into the background. It's definitely not built like a tank but also not overly flimsy. It makes a bit of audible noise but it's not too bad. The downs are that the control panel is inside, behind the door and it requires the fridge to be opened to operate. If the fridge mounted low, you won't see much of the display. The temperature control is not very tight. I have it set to 14degC and as it cycles the cooling, I sometimes see it at 17degC. The space utilisation is not very good. The shelf design, number and their placement are not optimal.
It's deep enough that you can for two bottles in tandem but they only fit this way if you have the bottom of the bottles towards the front and you interleave their necks with the necks of the bottles behind.
Other than that, it's a... wine fridge. If you wan't something better, you'll probably need to spend more.
Value for money
Great product and the quality is 100% keeps the wine a controlled temp consistently. The truck driver was great putting it into my bar area great service from you guys
