Kenwood chef XL Mixer
Great one, light and stable when mixing dough with no rigorous shaking compared to my previous breville bakery chef hub mixer. Bowl is a large capacity steel bowl . I could easily mix 4 cups of flour in this. K beater is good for cookie dough and cake making. All the attachments are big in size proportionate to the large bowl. The bowl has a lid which is useful when mixing flour . Best part is the 5 year manufacturers warranty.

In looking for a mixer I found Kenwood seems to be moving to mixers with 'extras'- built in scales or heaters. I wanted a mixer that could handle mixing a recipe that more than 6 cups flour. AND didn't have the 'extras'- scales or heater. This 1200 w mixer is exactly what I wanted. It handles my recipes with ease. Because of the depth of the bowl flour doesn't splatter (even without the splatter shield) and large pavlovas have plenty of space to whip. I've never had one beat so stiff! I highly recomment this mixer. The photo is of the 4 egg white pav I made.
