New Tech a huge weight improvement
A solid and reliable device overall, with no worries about the compressor, as there isn't one ( it works on a different principle). Best feature is that it is much much lighter than the traditional ones. I would have liked the water tray to hold a bit more and be a bit sturdier. Worst feature is that it puts out quite a bit of heat, so not very suitable for hot Summer days, but very suitable for cooler weather. Do read the manual before using as there are caveats to observe. Recommended overall.
Very happy with this
Only had it for a few months and mainly use it for drying clothes in a closed room. It works well, is easy to use and I have absolutely no complaints. It's a little disconcerting that the desiccant releases a smell when it's first used (mine smells faintly of a Chinese meal) but the manual explains why this happens and that its a temporary phenomenon (the desiccant absorbs odours during construction). Overall I am very happy with this unit
Great Product
Works like a dream. Fairly quiet, runs all night in the bedroom without interrupting our sleep. Decent size water tank means not having to empty it too often. Blows out a gentle warm air while operating which keeps our room at a nice temperature during the cold weather. Also bought an ausclimate one but this one is definitely better. Just wish this one was wifi controllable.
