It works (too well)
Our last dehumidifier had a pump to get rid of the water, this one doesn't, but everything else about it is better. It's quieter, it has a HEPA filter which means its evaporator coils don't get covered in crap that comes out of the air as water condenses, it's got wifi to remind you that its tank is full again, its dark grey is nice; more subtle than white. The tank does need to be emptied a lot!
I'm looking into a submersible or condensate pump. I have not (yet?) succeeded in getting it working in home assistant.
Pretty happy
Based in SEQLD, purchased to keep humidity down in rooms with equipment that needs humidity within certain limits. It is great at reducing the humidity and I was surprised at how often I had to empty ( some days up to 3 times) I don’t like that the humidifier is putting out warm air so makes the room quite warm and still have to put air con on.
