Awful, steer well clear, piece of junk
Bought a new house with this pre-installed nearly 3yrs ago (also ILVE D/washer and 2x ILVE ovens).
Went through 3 D/washers, before HN Commercial gave us a refund to get a Bosch at our insistence given how poor the experience was with ILVE.
Same issues with the Microwave, on our 3rd (1st one stopped heating, 2nd one shorted the Elec Board, 3rd one has just packed in just outside 2yr warranty).
Awful build quality, bizarre instructions, interface might as well be in Japanese it is so confusing, and even the basic door mechanism is really annoying.
If these were cheap I'd still give a bad review but the fact they are $1k+ is just bizarre! Stay well clear, terrible product and have had poor experiences across their product range. Ovens have survived but that's it.
Low power, randomly turns off with a beep
Don’t buy it, you’re trying to heat a milk bottle up quickly, it takes 20 seconds longer than a cheap old panasonic which it excruciating with a screaming child and then a few mins later it just randomly beeps and turns itself off. You don’t want a beep in the middle of the night for no reason. Given there are many spelling mistakes in the instruction manual, I think this also speaks to the quality. I’m not looking forward to when the globe goes or I need to clean the front glass.
