My New Gaggia Accademia Coffee Machine
As always, I look to order whatever I need from Appliances Online. I usually find the price is at the lower end of the price range and I received it the following day. Everything was perfect and love the machine.
Asked for review prior to delivery
Unable to review the purchase as not due for delivery until next year. I assume it was out of stock or too many deliveries scheduled before Christmas.
Excellent replacement for my old Saeco coffee mach
Our lovely 16 year old Saeco Royal Cappuccino machine had to be replaced as our repairer was no longer able to get the parts necessary. This new machine received the best reviews for a medium priced coffee machine.
It was easy to set up, and really easy to use. Others have complained about the coffee puck and rinse water container having to be cleaned after a half dozen coffees but I don't actually mind this. Less chance of any bacteria build up.
The options for coffee are great, especially when you can modify strength and temperature all at the touch of a button! I haven't used the milk container frother as a lot of other reviews have said that it really doesn't get the milk hot enough, so I've just stuck to the steamer as I like my coffee hot!
It is a little expensive but given it is made in Italy and the brand has been around forever hubby and I thought it well worth the expense!
