Worst purchase and agter service ever!
We purchased this cooktoo a year ago and have had issues with it since day 1. The cookers take about ten seconds to start and not on the first go - you have to repeat the process a few times before it starts. It has a buit-in timer on the surface which causes it to malfunction when you clean it. I’ve sent multiple messages to Franke and to Winnings. Franke sent out their technician to check - he said to me that he’s never seen one like this and taking this long to start, but according to Franke, he says it functions “normally”. This cook top is faulty but seems like the 7 year warranty is useless. If I had known, I would’ve opted for a much cheaper one but unfortunately the size of the hole in our bench top required this one. I’m appalled at the lack of quality and service and I’m the process of seeking legal advice..
Disappointing product and awful backup service
Bought this product unseen to replace a 9 year old gas cooktop by Highland that we couldn't get parts for. The only reason being it was the same unusual size and fitted our kitchen work space.
I have had a service call in for over a month to look at the burners, which just go out when on a simmer flame. Still waiting.
The cooktop has a digital clock and timer function which activates when you wipe over it to clean the surrounds. There is nothing in the manual about how to set it or turn it off. Very annoying.
