Good product, without expected features
Although there is no general problem with the fridge, I did not realise that door shelves cannot be rearranged, therefore limiting use of door for large bottles. Serial number cannot be located to register warranty, as Freezer doors cannot be removed. No egg holder or ice cube tray which I have wrongly assumed are general accessories with an $1800 fridge.
Paykel Fisher & Paykel Series 515L Fridge
A very attractive fridge that looks great in the kitchen and has a clean, modern design. It runs quietly and provides plenty of storage space, which comfortably suits the needs of a family of four.
My only criticism relates to the door handle design. Instead of having a handle on the side of the door, the handle is located underneath the door. In practice this feels a bit awkward, and people often end up opening the fridge by pulling from the side of the door instead. As a result, oily fingerprints regularly end up on the front of the fridge and need to be cleaned. A more conventional side handle would have made everyday use more practical.
Great fridge with large capacity
Very happy with this fridge. The design is modern and the capacity is great for a family. It runs quietly and keeps food very fresh. The layout inside is very practical and easy to organise. Delivery from Appliances Online was also very smooth and professional.
