The worst washing machine that I have owned
I have been a user of Fisher and Paykel whitegoods, including washing machines, for about 50 years, and, before this washing machine, have strongly recommended the brand.
Now, I strongly recommend against buying any Fisher and Paykel product.
Too many design faults are involved, to include them all, here, but, in summary, the washing machine is unsafe, and, unfit for purpose.
What kind of idiot designs and manufactures a washing machine, with the electrical supply about an inch from the mains pressure hot water connection, I have no idea. Mains pressure water and electricity, are too compatible, to be safe together. It is a bit like walking barefoot in a puddle, while holding a live power line.
A 1950's wringer washing machine is less labour intensive, less dangerous, less harmful to what is being washed, and is a far superior washing machine, to this model.
This model of washing machine, shows that Fisher and Paykel has deteriorated to be come a dangerous junk brand.
I would have given a zero "Overall rating, but, the ratings do not provide for a zero (or, even more applicable in this case, negative) rating.
Very happy with washing machine.
I’m very pleased with my new washing machine, whisper quiet, large capacity, multi function plus plenty of options.

Easy to use. Cleans well. No problem with the lint. Quite high so a short person may have to stretch a bit.
