Hardly used and it’s packed up already! Considering how little I used this it has gone the way of landfill if I can’t get it repaired after less than 4 years! Sick of this disposable culture and low quality build products!

The old adage you get what you pay for does not always apply. This unit replaced a 7 year old recognized brand Condenser Drier that was working then stopped for no apparent reason. Getting it checked and repaired was going to be a 3month $250plus exercise. So the option was replace with another expensive unit and possibly fix the old one in time and resell it. OR Option 2 try an otherwise not recognized budget priced ESATTO heat pump at less than half the price of the alternate delivered. The ESATTO arrived as promised, simple install, reasonable instructions. (direct drain line fitting instruction not clear) Overall controls are simple and surprise the AUTO setting has worked very well. Dries in reasonable time particularly relative to total power consumed. So far it has been as quick as the previous condenser type and does not cook clothes. With bonus warranty etc. if it fails after two to three years, we are still miles ahead and cost to run is much lower. Build quality is reasonable. Only issues noted are: * Opening the two catches on the plastic condenser filter access door can be difficult but more inconvenient than a problem. *The lint basket allows some lint past that is trapped in the secondary filter before the condenser coil. Quick fix has been add a peel and stick foam seal around the outside mounting shoulder of the primary lint trap. Nothing gets past now only fines through. Do not have to open the second filter access as often. * REVERSE TUMBLE. In effect DOES NOT OPERATE IN REVERSE. Only stops rotates backwards for a short cycle then resumes normal rotation. This is the one significant NEGATIVE Feature. Only impacts sheets and large items however is very misleading in advertising. Have dried sheets and found you have to pull out at least once or twice in thedry period and shake out and reload. Drying is still successful just inconvenient and you have to be there. If you really want tangle free sheets, then this is not the machine to buy. Cough up a lot more $ or just live with it. (note previous expensive brand name was same and as result this was a great disappointment.) Have not used the internal catch system so cannot comment on this. Looks easy to use . Has required cut outs and warnings etc . Overall good buy generally works well. If it makes 3years plus then is going to be a win.

After working 3 years last week full light keep coming up with no reason and pause the process. Might need a repair or replace…
