Used this air con for half of last years hot season. Just powered it up again after this years Sept hot spell and it is still running. I got an air con without the reverse cycle, as we never really used this function with the last air con. I'm hoping that we get at least 10 years out of this air con. This is the only air con that I could find that would came close to being the same size as the Kelvinator we had last, this to fit in the window and external frame. Even though the specs were the same, this Dimplex is in reality 5mm larger horizontally. Overall, I'm happy with this unit i.e. Works and fits in the same space without costly dramas.

Appliances online sent me a Dimplex product with the outer shell damaged and the filter covered didn’t fit properly, never buy from them again, Dimplex is a very bad quality made aircon.
