This a very effective heater
This Delonghi Dragon 4 oil heater is a very effective heater in a very large open area. Living in southern Victoria near the coast and its cold here and much colder than Melbourne for example. It’s an oil heater so takes some time to heat up but this is a large three room open area of 10 x 14 meters and it takes the chill off for sure. When the temperature drops the Aircon is the next option I prefer this in the interim. Good value for the benefits in my opinion.

I am greatly impressed. Highly recommend.
I didn't know much about the oil heaters and I didn't particularly think they are effective. I find this heater to be highly effective, without having to turn up to high heat. It lets out a comfortable heat that doesn't dry the room out, is quiet (unlike a blow heater) and you can comfortably leave on all night without it overheating the room with a doona. I am really surprised and ended up purchasing a second heater to heat my second bedroom as in winter it is normally about 2-3 degrees overnight. I turn it on 16 - 17 degrees and have a comfortable sleep as it just heats the air and takes off the chill.
