Very Good Freezer ... but not excellent
The positives:
Easy to use. Very low energy consumption (verified with a power meter). Good drawers and shelves.
The less positive aspects:
When you can feel the door being cold from the outside, it indicates that the insulation could be improved. Draping a blanket over the door (without blocking the freezer's heat dissipation at the back), noticeably reduced power consumption. Although the cost savings are minimal, the compressor works harder to maintain temperature, which could affect longevity.
Tip: It’s surprising how quickly coldness is lost when the door is open. (Yes, I am an engineer with an internal digital thermometer with an exterior display). I recommend knowing what to look for before opening the freezer to minimize door-open time.
Overall, I am very satisfied, but I wish the door insulation was better to improve efficiency and maintain temperature more effectively.
Quality for the price
Bought this as a freezer to replace our very old Westinghouse that bit the dust. The unit looks good, works perfectly and is big enough for our needs. Love that it has drawers but have to be careful opening them as there does not appear a stopper so if the drawer is full it has a tendency to fall out (on my foot!). I also love that this is a hybrid so can be used as a fridge if needed, although I'm not sure how useful drawers would be in a fridge. Great service from Appliances Online and love free delivery,they take away old appliance and all packaging. Very happy with my purchase.

Love this freezer it has so much room, couldn't be happier. I bought the stainless steel freezer which is such a great colour. Appliances online are great to deal with, very professional and keep you advised on delivery, which was exceptional. Would definitely recommend this company they are great to deal with
