Not built to last
I've had this toaster for a bit more than two and a half years and it now no longer turns off unless I turn the switch off at the wall. It confirms my instincts to stick to small appliances which don't have lots of electronic componentry. The more complicated the electronics, the more scope there is for somrthing to go wrong!
Uneven toasting
I've disliked this toaster since purchase. To toast bread, I have found you need to toast each piece twice, always flipping the bread after the first toast as this is the only wait to get an even result. The lift function doesn't lift high enough so getting smaller pieces of bread out of the toaster is difficult.
I have had the toaster for about 3 years now and it's malfunctioning, sometimes it doesn't stop toasting, even after "popping" unless I turn it off at the wall - it's a hazard and I am back online looking for a replacement as it's unsafe to keep using it. Could not and would not recommend.
