No-nonsense Iron
The Braun TexStyle 5 Steam Iron was purchased in error - long story; my fault. However, the iron is very capable and despite typical iron deficiencies, it meets my needs. The most annoying ‘feature’ is the facility to allow the cord to be wrapped around the iron. Yes, it is possible to do so but as soon as the iron is stood on its base, the cord falls off. While I like being able to alter the temperature, the temperature dial is void of any garment-type markings.
Braun Texstyle Iron
I bought this iron after making the mistake of buying a cordless Russell Hobbs iron which heading putting back on the charger every 27 seconds (timed it) . The Braun came with good reviews so thought I’d see for myself. It is an excellent iron -lightweight, doesn’t need refilling with water every 5 minutes , nice and hot and the steam very efficient. I have no hesitation to recommend this iron
