Sleek, clean and quick
Whilst I am still transitioning from gas to induction, I’m loving my new Bosch Series 8 cooktop. Simple tasks are so much faster due to the rapid heating and built in timer gives more control. Less sticking due to the ability to simmering at controlled and consistent lower settings which used to result in the gas flame turning off altogether or having to be too high. I am enjoying the discovery of new possibilities with the “zone” on the left hand side. Very happy with my choice!
Always read the instructions.
We have had an induction cooktop before, but never assume you know it all, ALWAYS read up on how to deal with spills, and how to deal with different types, at various temperatures.Then the unit will last for many years. It would be good if Bosch supplied a hard copy instruction book, like Smeg and most others do, and not have to go online to get it, and if you actually want to print it, 32 pages or 16 double sided. For what these cooktops cost, a hard copy manual should be included.
Easy to use, takes some time getting use to
It heats up incredibly fast and gives precise control once you get use the numbering system. The 80cm size and flex zone gives you plenty of space to work with. Delivery was super quick with plenty of SMS notifications, delivery team nailed their delivery window and were a professional bunch.
