Bosch cook hob
I’ve always use Bosch in my home and the switch to induction cooking is fantastic with easy cleaning, fast heating and looks great.
Reasonable cooktop
I've had the cooktop for about 12 months. Sometimes the cooktop stops functioning and you have to turn it off at the powerpoint to reset the cooktop. If you try to change the setting with wet fingers, the cooktop does not always respond. If you spill water (eg condensation from a saucepan lid) on the cooktop, it can stop functioning. You need to put on high to stir fry, but it's not the same as gas despite what everyone says, but it's definitely better for the environment. I think that my old ceramic cooktop got hotter. I purchased the griddle pan for the flexihob at enormous cost. It works well but have since discovered you can buy a cheaper one from Chinatown or online (not Bosch branded).
BOSCH Induction cooktop
Pls note that device cannot be installed flush with kitchen benchtop since the beach of silicon foam underneath makes it sit 1-2 mm above the brnchtop surface, which makes it very vulnerable to glass chipping away at the thin edge, and food scaps getting caught underneath. The installation instructions are sub- standard.
