It does not cook properly. takes forever to heat
Bought this Oven based on Bosch's reputation and recent positive reviews. But our experience has been anything but. The oven takes so long to heat up to 180-200C. Give yourself a good 20-30mins to get to that temperature of even 160C. We contacted Bosch and they sent a Bosch service provider in who told us there is nothing wrong with the oven and that we are just going to have to just deal with 90cm ovens taking longer to heat. Fine! But when I tried to cook something simple like a Brownie at 180C - and after more than an hour - it's still nowhere near cook - that's not right for a $3600 oven. And Bosch sent us a bill for the service person to come in. The callout was $165 including the first 15 minutes of labour, additional labour is $50/15 minutes. All this to say that the elements were heating up properly. Very frustrated - when our understanding was that this was part of the warranty. Have not tried the pyrolitic function as the oven barely hits 200C. Tried to cook a 1.5kg roast at 200C the other day and it steamed the meat after almost 3hours.
I will never buy Bosch again. We actually saved up to buy supposed decent Bosch products (x4) through appliances online. The Bosch Dishwasher was missing a part - so we could not open the door to use it! The Bosch dryers rattles and sounds like the drum is about to take off to space. It's either the worse luck of Bosch products or Bosch has lost its integrity.
