Incomplete for installation to vent externally
The cooktop comes without all the necessary parts to install. Specifically, you need to order one of 4 venting kits. 3 are for internal venting (if you have no other choice), and only 1 is for external venting.
That 1 external venting kit has incomplete instructions and no cowl. And the parts are nonstandard sizes. So take into account that actual cost is $250 more, plus the custom cowl fabrication, and the whole thing is a massive pain.
Bought Bosch appliances
The whole process with this company was amazing from beginning to end. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Excellent cooktop
Excellent cooktop and ventilation works well. Just needs a silicone cover and extra ducting to be factored in to the cost.
