A good Mate
A Work-'Mate' it is. It is a great addition to anyone's work area. I have had one for 40 years and it has been my helper hundreds of times. So I bought one for our son, and he loves it. Of course it is no substitute for a large work bench, but it's hard to stick your large work bench on the back of the ute or carry it out into the yard for the quick job. The best 'Mate' and extra pair of hands I've ever had -- except for a human mate, of course!
PRACTICAL PIECE OF KIT.
I had my old Workmate for 30 years and the only reason I bought another is that two, for my needs, would be better than one.
Having replaced the tops of my old one, I realised that for long lengths of timber, I work on, another would be handy.
One Workmate is essential anyway as it is so handy for holding anything while sawing, glueing or working on anything that needs a stable base to work on.
Very high quality
I have a had a few of this model , the latest model has replaced some metal parts with plastic small parts Compared to my first model many years ago but it operate just a well
