Poor design around chain gear cover
This lopper would be great but for the poor design thought of the cover where the gear is located. It's the part where the cover needs to be removed to access the gear to adjust or replace the chain. It fills with wood chips quickly and results in chain coming off as it get's jammed up. You would constantly have to remove the cover (2 screws) to clean that area to stop it jamming or chain coming off. That cover is needed to keep the gear in as otherwise the gear would just come off and unusable.
I Felt Like Edward Scissorhands!
So glad I purchased this tool. I have arthritis in my hands & it made pruning a much easier task.
The only thing that I feel could improve it would be a harness of some sort to eliminate the weight after a length of time.
The Lazy Gardeners best friend
This item is the best purchase I have made in a long time. It is light and easy to use. The jaws are amazingly sharp and cuts through the trees like butter. I purchased it for me to use to help in the garden however my husband has taken it over and will not use his chainsaw anymore. My new best friend
